Account Manager

You will be engaged in software presentations, technical meetings, requirement analysis, proposals, negotiations, and in the overall sales process until closure. The successful candidate will work closely with SoftExpert’s CEO and other key team members to achieve business excellence in the US market.

Job Duties
Support the sales process, coordinate and make products and/or services presentations and demonstrations, identify the customer’s needs, analyze customer’s requirements, define project scope, set the modules and solutions in alignment with the customer’s needs, estimate costs, build technical/commercial proposals. SoftExpert is committed to the Solution Selling sales methodology to ensure that the accounts that go to the close step have been correctly analyzed and interpreted so that the customer can verify and recognize the SE SUITE tool as the best tool for their need. 


Main Activities:

  • Create new business opportunities by identifying potential customers and prospects in close synergy with SoftExpert product portfolio;
    Identify and maintain multiple sourcing alternatives at the appropriate level in target organization to ensure a continuous pipeline of potential prospects for new business and revenue opportunities;
  • Develop strong relationships within the targeted account segment, accessing key decision makers through prospecting and collaborating with partners;
  • Act as a trusted advisor to potential leads by demonstrating a deep understanding of their business needs as well as the market(s) they serve;
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of SoftExpert’s solutions to make effective sales presentations and product demonstrations;
  • Organize RFP/RFI responses to ensure on-time, high quality submission;
  • Perform focused, detailed economic and technical analysis to match our solutions with prospects’ business requirements and demonstrate a superior return on investment (ROI);
  • Conduct persuasive presentations and consultative solution-selling to C-level executives and their technical counterparts;
  • Discover and demonstrate decisive competitive advantage and differentiation from market competitors;
  • Do effective cost-benefit analysis and package configuration to deliver the most competitive and affordable quotations;
  • Negotiate proposals, contracts, and renewals to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction;
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers by providing support, information, and best practice guidance;
  • Build in-depth knowledge of customer business and IT priorities, challenges and initiatives, while mining and developing new opportunities across the company;
  • Provide feedback of customer product requirements to product development teams;
  • Participate in industry forums, trade shows and other events representing the company/solutions to develop relationships and new prospects that will lead to future engagements;
  • Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and formal presentation skills to influence customer audiences ranging from technical staff through executive levels;
  • Report all sales and pipeline activities and follow the established sales procedures on the CRM system.


Skills and Experience: 

  • A minimum of five-to-seven years of successful IT sales consultancy experience.
  • Strong experience with specialized IT business solutions, preferably EQM, BPM, ECM, EHSM.
  • Experience working in and/or selling enterprise software solutions in one or more of these sectors: Automotive, Defense, Aerospace, Food/Beverage, Pharma and Medical Device.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
  • Professional persistence and self-motivation.
  • Teamwork and collaboration with good listening skills.
  • Ability to quickly build credibility with prospects and customers.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
